Community Support Representative at Slide in San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities:

Slide is looking for a part-time customer support rep who will be monitoring web discussion forums, responding to tier 1 customer emails from customers, and investigating issues. Candidate will work approximately 15-20 hours per week and may be required to work weekends. This is a temporary contract position.

  •  Monitor web discussion forums
  •  Respond to tier 1 customer emails
  •  Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported by customers
  •  Log reproducible bugs reported by customers into bug tracking system
  •  Recording customer feedback
  •  Work from home, but must be able to come into the office on occasion (Bay Area candidates only)
     

Requirements:

  • At least one year of email based customer support. Website support preferred
  • Must be familiar with online social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace, etc.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, creative stamina, and abilityto problem-solve
  • Highly motivated and excited to work in a demanding start up environment
  • Superb writing and communication skills. Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required
  • Attention to detail
  • Familiar with customer and bug tracking systems (Trac and RequestTracker preferred)
  • Familiar with Microsoft office applications

Bonus:

  • Fluency in Spanish
