Responsibilities:
Slide is looking for a part-time customer support rep who will be monitoring web discussion forums, responding to tier 1 customer emails from customers, and investigating issues. Candidate will work approximately 15-20 hours per week and may be required to work weekends. This is a temporary contract position.
- Monitor web discussion forums
- Respond to tier 1 customer emails
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported by customers
- Log reproducible bugs reported by customers into bug tracking system
- Recording customer feedback
- Work from home, but must be able to come into the office on occasion (Bay Area candidates only)
Requirements:
- At least one year of email based customer support. Website support preferred
- Must be familiar with online social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace, etc.
- Must have excellent organizational skills, creative stamina, and abilityto problem-solve
- Highly motivated and excited to work in a demanding start up environment
- Superb writing and communication skills. Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required
- Attention to detail
- Familiar with customer and bug tracking systems (Trac and RequestTracker preferred)
- Familiar with Microsoft office applications
