Software Engineer - Website Back End

Requirements

* 3-5 years of experience
* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science
* Background in databases including MySQL
* Solid experience coding in languages such as Python or Java
* Experience with Linux, networking and open source
* Able to help foster a highly collaborative, friendly, open environment
* Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
* Database architecture experience a plus

Responsibilities

* Develop solid backend infrastructure to support our next-generation business and consumer offerings
* Constantly factor and re-factor your code for reusability, repeatability, maintainability and scaling
* Participate fully in our agile processes throughout the product development cycle
* Work closely with your team to define the specific functionality required
* Be relentless in your pursuit of quality and practice of test-driven development
