Qualified candidate must be able to identify and solicit new clients and target groups. Effectively communicate with clients in a friendly, positive manner to achieve maximum guest satisfaction. Ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded by soliciting past and new business. Primary focus will be on the sports and leisure market segments. Actively work via telephone, cold calls, internet prospecting and site visits to locate future business. Perform special projects as needed and participate in local community/professional organizations to maintain high visibility and promote the hotel. Candidate should possess 2 years sales experience, with 1 year hotel sales preferred with a proven track record. A two or four year degree in sales or related area is required.
