Responsibilites:
- Work alongside a passionate KickApps development team (Part of the Kit digital family) in developing and delivering dynamic social media solutions in PHP, JavaScript, FLEX and HTML5.
- Involved with all aspects of the software development lifecycle: Design, Documentation, Implementation, Delivery, etc.
- Design and implement HTML5 based web/mobile application framework.
- Work closely with product and design teams
- Debug and enhance existing HTML5 web and mobile apps
- Create highly scalable / robust code (that is also really clean)
- Actively participate in daily SCRUM meetings
- Solve huge technical challenges
Requirements:
- 4+ years of UI development experience
- 2+ years of mobile specific web application experience
- Experience using HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript
- Moderate to expert knowledge in AJAX, JSON and data driven JavaScript applications
- Experience with GIT, JIRA, ANT, or similar tools
- Cross-browser/platform experience
- Team player with good communication skills
- Ability to work successfully both independently and in a team setting
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a deadline driven environment
- Experience and awareness of emergent mobile technologies with the ability to translate those technologies into delivering value to the business
