Lead Python Engineer at Hitpost in San Francisco, CA

OnSports is looking for world-class engineers that want to be part of something big. We are passionate about imagining and creating the next generation of social sports apps. We foster a team of like-minded self-starters and fast learners who are excited to expand on this vision.  You will work closely with our existing platform and design teams to improve upon and build new applications for our growing user base.  Your primary responsibility will be the design, development, and deployment of the server-side for user facing and internal features.  We practice test-driven and agile development so be ready to release often!

Requirements:
*2 years or more development experience designing and coding server APIs to support feature rich web or mobile applications
*2 years or more experience building python apps, preferably using django
*Ability to break hard problems into manageable chunks and create logical maintainable modules
*Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
*Sound judgment for balancing between idealism and pragmatism
*BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Nice to have:
*Experience scaling web services for social, feed oriented, mobile products
*Passionately roots for a favorite sports team or player - or at least considers checking sports scores occasionally
*Have contributed the server-side (or client code) to apps in the Google Play Store or iOS app store (please send us links!)
