Platform Intern at Foursquare in New York, NY

The Platform team @ foursquare is looking for an intern! Come help make foursquare one of the most successful, widely used platforms on the Internet. We're looking for someone who can answer questions from our over 10,000 (and growing!) third-party developers, work with foursquare engineering to design API improvements, represent foursquare at developer events, and much more! The role is also a great opportunity to sit at the junction of foursquare’s different business areas and see how they all come together.

The internship requires a minimum of 25 hours per week for at least 10 consecutive weeks in our East Village headquarter office. We offer a competitive hourly pay rate and a shiny new Mac. 

What we're looking for:

• Prior software dev experience (e.g. Javascript, Python, Ruby)
• Huge plus if you’ve actually built something on the foursquare API (send us a link!)
• Strong technical writing skills
• Comfortable communicating with large audiences (e.g. participating in a developer forum, presenting to a group of hackers)
