Lead Engineering Recruiter at Foursquare in San Francisco, CA
Our goal is to make the real world easier to use. We're a small but highly ambitious company with millions of users worldwide relying on foursquare to keep up with friends, discover what's nearby, save money and unlock deals. We’re also helping half a million registered businesses ranging from local merchants to global brands connect with their customers.
To thrive as a member of team foursquare, you must embrace our exciting work-hard, play-hard environment. We're a close-knit team and, especially at the end of a long day over beers, we feel like we're inventing the future together.
About foursquare's talent team:
Here at foursquare, we believe that one person should be with you from your very first interview to your last day at the company, and that person is the recruiter. We don’t have a formal "HR department" like other companies. Instead, our recruiting team is your one-stop shop for everything - interviews, orientation, benefits, culture, retention, career development, and more.
To join our team, you must have a sixth sense about people - you can separate the ‘A players’ from the ‘A+ players’, understand what makes them tick day-to-day, and know how to keep them engaged, challenged, and passionate about their work. You must also come with creative ways to build our culture, market our employment brand to the outside world, and squash those pesky growing pains when they arise. We’re taking a whole new approach to recruiting and HR at foursquare, and we're seeking others that are ready to break the mold.
About the engineering recruiter position:
