As an experienced Java Software Developer in Test, you will be a key member of a major initiative for a best-selling consumer product.  As a member of our software development team, you will deliver high quality software for our clients.

We need you to help us get our software out!

In order to ship quality software, we use a combination of test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration (CI). We need an SDET who can help us build a quality plan and automated test suite for a series of libraries intended for use on a popular consumer mobile device.

You should bring a great attitude, creativity, a passion for software and an interest in pushing to the next level of delivery. You should have experience with both traditional QA models (to help clarify) and Agile/TDD models (for implementation).

Responsibilities include:

    Translating requirements into test cases (collaboration with business stakeholders)

    Ensuring tests cover software adequately (collaboration with development)

    Ensuring proper integration testing (collaboration with other development teams)

    Cross-group collaboration

Skill set

    2-4 years software development (object-oriented software development) with Java (preferred)

    1 year or more of personal or professional experience with Android / iOS / Win CE / Win7 mobile

    Comfortable working with source control systems (e.g. SVN, Git, Perforce, etc.)

    Experience working in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban/XP) environment

   Experience working with a build system (e.g. Ant, Maven)

Preferred

    Professional Android experience

    Familiarity with C++

    Embedded systems testing experience
