About the role
 
Help revolutionize the way doctors and patients experience healthcare.  
 
We are looking for a talented graphic designer to join our design team. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team you will be responsible for crafting the future of our service. We pride ourselves on rethinking established paradigms and redefining elegance in software. By humanizing complicated systems, our aim is to perfect healthcare interactions.
 
You will be working closely with engineers, designers, marketing, evangelists, and the rest of our team. Our designers play a key role in product development, from concept to launch, so be ready to bring your creative ideas to the table. And because we push new versions of the website, API, mobile apps multiple times a week, it won't take long to get your work out in front of our thousands of users.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fluid start-up environment and will bring an energetic, fun and creative approach to their work.

You could be an experienced designer or a recent graduate eager to learn and get involved at all stages of the development life-cycle.

This job will be based in our headquarters, "the chronoplex" in the Mountain View, CA.

Requirements
  • Min of 3 years of experience 
  • Ability to create incredible things in vector
  • Experience owning a wide variety of print projects from concept through production
  • An understanding of what makes great packaging a magical experience and not just a pretty box
  • Thorough knowledge of what comprises a truly inspiring brand and how to communicate that visually
  • Expertise building simple-yet-elegant identity systems
  • Ability to set up files of various types for final print production
  • Fast in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign in particular)
  • Ability to deliver solid designs on a tight deadline
  • Expert eye for detail and consistency; no detail is too small or insignificant
  • Comfortable with an iterative design process that includes accepting and managing feedback and constructive criticism
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent collaboration skills  
Even better
  • Knowledge of printing processes, materials and techniques
  • Experience conducting press checks with printers
  • Experience in professional photography
  • Ability to design beautiful icons
  • Experience developing brand style guides
  • 3D rendering skills with applications such as Cinema 4D
