Merchandise Coordinator, Sports at Delivery Agent in San Francisco, CA

Job Description:

A passion for sports entertainment and will fuel this job.  You will be responsible for supporting, contributing and driving the day to day success of the Sports Vertical,

Core Responsibilities:

• Sku / Item set up
• Gather all required information on each item presented for sale on all sites
• Organize data, product detail and content
• Communicate sku detail to copywriting, marketing and various other departments
• Set up each sku / item correctly and efficiently in DA’s proprietary Content Management System, Console
• Prioritize workflows based in interdepartmental needs
• Create detailed and accurate reports using MicroStrategies and Console databases to facilitate and inform good merchandising and purchasing decisions
• Occasional analysis of product category, assortment and financial performance
• Track POs
• Check PDPs reflect accurate and timely information
• Manage and track product samples
• Ad hoc responsibilities as required

Core Skills and Requirements:

• Must be a Sports Fan!
• Strong working knowledge of retail financial principals
  • Familiarity with inventory planning, assortment planning, sales forecasting, gross margin and other retail mathematics and formulas

• Excellent Excel, Microstratigies, Text Editor, and Word skills
• Quick learner on new, proprietary systems
• Familiarity with Photoshop highly desirable

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Passionate, innovative and intellectually curious about ecommerce and retail practices
• Participate in other interdepartmental and companywide projects
• Strong sense of humor, teamwork and self confidence

Requirements:

• Experience in Ecommerce, Retail Planning, Procurement or Merchandising a plus

• Self-Starter who relishes taking initiative
• Highly results driven
• Business Degree with a focus on finance and/or marketing highly desirable
