LGBT Culture Blogger at BuzzFeed in New York, NY

BuzzFeed's hiring a writer to helm our LGBT vertical. BuzzFeed's already got great political and cultural LGBT content, and we're looking for a hungry culture maniac obsessed with the things people are sharing, liking, recommending and talking about to bring the page to the next level. You should be a smart, fast writer with an interest in high and low culture, a demonstrated interest in covering the diversity of the LGBT community, and an uncanny ability to tell the stories everyone else is missing.

This job is based in our NYC offices, and we offer a competitive compensation and stock option program.

• Write and edit posts for BuzzFeed.com's LGBT vertical
• Obsessively track and have a take on LGBT news and culture
• Generate ideas for new features, collaborative posts and videos
• Contribute to the national conversation about LGBT community
• Run the LGBT vertical's social media branches on Twitter, Tumblr and elsewhere
