Job Description

Blip is looking for a bright and motivated Director of Technical Operations to join our agile engineering team.

The ideal candidate is a driven to build highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and easy to administer physical and network infrastructures.

You are pro-active and organized, obsess about documentation, can’t sleep unless nagios has everything covered, and don’t feel a job is done until it’s automated for the next time.

You should be fully comfortable working in LAMPish environments.  And we won't judge you ( much ) if you’re not a Mac user or have an Android phone.

Experience working with large-scale database clusters, even larger-scale file storage arrays, and downright silly amounts of bandwidth highly desirable.
