Position summary:
Bedrocket seeks a full-time Director of Business Development to work in our downtown Manhattan office.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify, negotiate and close licensing agreements and partnerships with content creators, major media companies, agencies, and brands
- Act as liaison to company’s business partners, providing business support and analytics as well as solutions to any partner issues or concerns
- Provide financial analysis of potential deals and partnerships
- Develop and author business plans and presentation materials
- Work closely with CEO, CFO and EVP Business Affairs on deal structuring
- Work with senior management on companywide strategic planning
- Develop new revenue opportunities for company and its partners
Qualifications include:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in business development
- Excellent negotiating and communication skills
- MBA with background in media preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel as necessary
