The Ad Operations Campaign Manager will have the opportunity be involved in various department successes from Operations and Media Planning to Inventory Management but will primarily be managing and delivering to advertiser objectives for 25 to 35 campaigns per month.
Responsibilities include everything from analyzing all campaigns running across CDS to sitting in on client calls solving individual performance issues to working with an account manager on creating winning plans. This may include: Ad trafficking, reporting, project management as a campaign manager, inventory projections, creative q/a (flash, 3rd party tags, html, etc), optimizations, renewal business, billing reconciliation, working with sales planners on winning plans, acting as a liaison between the NY office and other satellite CDS offices.
The skill set of the ideal candidate will include: a team player attitude, great time management, ability to negotiate and work with sales department, keen attention to detail, ability to work in fast paced, deadline driven environment, be an Excel guru, trafficking in multiple ad servers and have working knowledge of a CRM.
Implement and manage advertising campaigns using a 3rd party ad server and internal tools.
Ensure ongoing campaign success through regular performance analysis and optimization.
Interpret, analyze and make recommendations against advertising metrics.
Assist in managing and executing monthly billing as well as client reporting
Assist in various projects as needed.
Participate in client campaign kick-off calls to outline ad tracking requirements and deliverables
Ensure clients and internal sales teams are receiving first class customer support
Facilitate communication between ad operations and creative services, finance, and ad sales
Ensure all booked revenue is recognized while campaign objectives are consistently exceeded
Work with teams to identify and design new tools and systems to improve efficiency
2-3 years experience in online media
Experience with an online ad serving systems such as Atlas, DART
Basic HTML knowledge
Experience analyzing online campaign data activity
Superior communication and customer service skills
