Search Manager

Job Description

We’re looking for a smart, motivated Search Manager with 1-2 years or more of HANDS ON search experience.  When you start here we’re going to expect you to know how to create keyword lists, upload campaigns into the engines, analyze reports, create tracking URLs, write search copy etc. You should also have experience developing and communicating new ideas and client strategies. 

 

What You’d Do:

  • Create and Manage paid search campaigns
  • Track budgets and performance to goals
  • Dig into the data to uncover insights on client accounts
  • Improve and create new strategies to meet client goals
  • Communicate with internal teams about status of various projects
  • Write status documents for regular client calls and communicate project status to clients
  • Create and present strategic documents for clients
  • Stay on top of industry emerging trends
  • Help with the training of junior staff

 

Stuff You Need To Know:

  • 1-2+ years of direct paid search management skills
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data in order to gauge performance and properly optimize campaigns
  • Understanding of bid management technology and strategies
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to improve and grow accounts
  • Self Motivated, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Sense of humor & ability to work under pressure

 

Schoolin’:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four year, accredited college or university
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in paid search
  • Experience with analytics and tracking
  • Agency experience not required but doesn’t hurt
