Research Associate / Associate Scientist, Pharmacokinetics

We are seeking an in vivo Research Associate/Associate Scientist with experience in conducting pharmacokinetic experiments to profile the in vivo properties on novel CNS therapeutics. The candidate will be responsible for the execution of in vivo experiments to evaluate the pharmacokinetics, CNS penetration and toxicokinetics of novel compounds that enhance cognition. The position requires proficiency in applicable in vivo techniques (animal handling, drug administration, blood collection, restraint, anesthesia, euthanasia) in common in vivo models. Hands-on experience in all routes of drug administration (p.o., i.v., i.p., s.c., i.m., i.c.v.) and tissue/blood sampling is required. Stereotactic and other surgical experience is a plus. Candidates will also be responsible for data analysis including statistical analysis and data presentation and must be able to both work independently and as part of a team.

Thus, the candidate must have a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills and must be organized and timely with regard to data collection, meeting presentations and reports.
