What it is:

Unified is looking for a few awesome Social Media Buyers.  You will use proprietary applications to launch and optimize social advertising campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media platforms. This role is the backbone of our fast paced media support team; as such, qualified candidates will have to have impeccable attention to detail and strong work ethic.  

What you'll do:

  • Interact and coordinate with internal departments, clients, vendors and agencies to ensure campaign success
  • Use proprietary software to build and optimize ad campaigns across social media platforms
  • Manage social ad campaigns from start to finish with attention to profitability, efficiency, client satisfaction, etc.
  • Assist with mid-campaign and post-campaign reporting and other client services
  • Work with our technology product team by recommending design changes and enhancements to ensure the constant improvement of the Unified Social Operating Platform

  • You’re just a little geeky - you don’t need to be a coder, but using tech to save time and improve workflow is a must

Need to have: 

  • Interest in media, technologies, and a desire to keep informed of new trends 
  • Expert awareness in social
  • Ability to prioritize duties and meet deadlines
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Professional maturity, integrity, discipline and a positive attitude
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work on your own as part of a distributed team
  • Good understanding of social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)  
  • Good understanding of online advertising  
  • Strong analytical skills: must have a demonstrated track record of excellence in analytics, either via past work experience and/ or successful completion of analytic coursework 
  • Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and take initiative in order to solve problems as they arise
  • Hands-on experience in online advertising environments with working knowledge of advertising operations

Nice to have:

  • Expert use of Facebook ads, Twitter ads, or other RTB media buying and optimization tools
  • Campaign management experience with one or more of these APIs
  • Prior media buying or financial trading experience
  • Good understanding of web technologies (pixels, html, javascript)
  • Experience with pivot tables and other analytical reporting tools such as SQL
  • Experience with website tracking tools such as Google Analytics
