Creative Services Summer Internship at BuzzFeed in New York, NY

 

BuzzFeed needs a hard-working Creative Services intern for a full-time paid position in the New York office. Our site is a rapidly growing hub for media that reaches over 20 million monthly unique visitors and our network tracks an additional 300M uniques. BuzzFeed's unique social distribution engine is used by advertisers to bring a social lift to their branded content initiatives. The person will work closely with the creative services team to create compelling posts and content for advertisers.

The ideal candidate will have some experience writing, researching, creating content, and working with brands at a previous internship or in an academic capacity. The intern will work with the BuzzFeed Creative Services team on content creation, ideation and research. This is an excellent opportunity to break into the online advertising industry and to add to a resume or portfolio.

This is a paid summer internship based in our NYC offices. We are looking to have someone start as soon as possible.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist Creative team with researching potential advertising partners and campaigns elements
  • Create drafts of posts to include in outgoing pitch decks.
  • Participate in brainstorm sessions.
  • Support Creative Services team in post creation for active campaigns.

 

Requirements

  • Experience in an editorial position from school or a previous internship at a magazine or website.
  • Experience working with branded content is also a plus.
  • Overall eagerness and enthusiasm.
  • Comfort with the fast pace of Internet advertising.
