Overview:  

As a Mobile UI and Visual Designer, you will work closely with product managers and engineers throughout all stages of the product cycle. Your work will involve designing interfaces that solve complex interactions, and proactively iterating on these models to create a polished product that will impact millions of SoundHound users.  Will have the opportunity to work on Android, WP, iOS, and web projects as well (first project will be Android focused).

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to design simple, elegant interfaces
• Ability to solve complex design problems based on requirements and deliver detailed UI documents
• Inspire best practice design solutions through market research and collective input
• Create polished and beautiful assets for implementation

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS in Graphic Design or related field (in lieu of degree, minimum 4 years of relevant work experience)
• 2 years relevant work experience (minimum 1 year designing for native Android apps)
• Solid knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

Preferred:

• 3 years of experience designing delightful consumer-oriented mobile products
• Proven ability to conceptualize and communicate ideas and design rationale
• Desire to cultivate an understanding of industry trends and applying relevant techniques and processes to your work
• Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload to meet critical project milestones and deadlines
