Help/FAQs: Pricing

How much does it cost to use JobScore? Is JobScore really free?

You can build your pipeline and contact as many candidates as you share for free on the JobScore SHARE plan.  If you don’t want to share resumes, or if you want to contact more candidates than you share, you’ll have to pay to use JobScore. Subscription fees and credit prices are listed here.

Whichever plan you choose, it does cost money to post jobs on paid job boards (such as Monster or Craigslist) through JobScore. Job board posting prices are listed here.

What is the difference between the JobScore SHARE plan and the JobScore SUBSCRIBE plan?

  • With the JobScore SHARE plan, you can share resumes to earn credits. On the JobScore SUBSCRIBE plan you cannot share resumes.
  • The JobScore SHARE plan is free. On the JobScore SUBSCRIBE plan you pay a monthly fee based on the number of open jobs in your account.

What are credits? How do I get credits?

Each time you contact a recommended candidate from the JobScore Network it costs 1 credit. You can get credits by:

  • Buying credits. Credit prices are listed here.
  • Earning credits:
    • On the JobScore SHARE plan, you earn 1 credit for each new resume you share with the network. (provided the resume isn't already in the JobScore Network.)
    • Regardless of your plan, you can earn up to 10 award credits for each employer you refer who signs-up for the JobScore SHARE plan.

Why do you charge separately for subscription plans and credits?

Our primary goal is filling the JobScore Network with resumes, so our pricing reflects that goal: if you put more resumes into the Network than you take out, you may use JobScore for free. But we realize this won't work for everyone:

  • Some people won't share resumes, ever. For these people we offer the JobScore SUBSCRIBE plan, with prices based your usage (the # of open jobs in your account)
  • Some people will share resumes, but want to take more from the Network than they share. For these people, we charge a small fee per resume, and offer volume discounts as you purchase more credits.

What's the difference between paid credits and award credits?

  • Paid credits are good forever -- you must buy them.
  • Award credits, also known as free credits, are earned by sharing resumes or by successfully referring other employers to sign-up for a JobScore SHARE account. Award credits expire after 90 days, so use them fast!

What is the monthly fee? Why do some plans cost more than others?

If you don't want to share resumes, you pay a monthly fee for JobScore. Subscription plan pricing is based on the number of jobs you have open at one time, so the more you use JobScore, the more you pay.

How much does it cost for each user?

We don't charge per user. Whichever plan you choose, you can add an unlimited number of users to your account. Why?

Recruiting is a collaborative process and we want you to get everyone involved - so go ahead and add everyone in your company to your JobScore account! We also know that recruiters hate to compile reports...so when someone asks for a candidate pipeline update, just have them review the latest information in JobScore. Our goal is to make a simple, self service system that your entire company uses to help find great people.

What is the maximum number of open jobs?

If you don't share resumes and sign-up for a SUBSCRIBE plan, you pay based on your JobScore usage.

We measure usage based on the number of open jobs you are trying to fill that you list on your careers site. If you need to exceed the "maximum number of open jobs," upgrade your plan and you can add more jobs immediately.

On-hold, Closed and Filled status jobs don't count towards your total -- only Open jobs you are trying to fill right now.

How do I pay for JobScore?

We only accept payment by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Can I switch between plans at any time?

Yes! Switch plans, upgrade, or downgrade your account at any time on the Edit Account page.

If I sign up for a subscription plan, when do you charge my credit card?
