Continuing along its highly successful growth trajectory, SFFedCU is seeking a Sr. Core Systems Administrator to work on-site at our San Francisco headquarters.

The Position

The Sr. Core Systems Administrator plays a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the critical IT infrastructure of a financial institution, with a primary focus on Corelation KeyStone, online/mobile banking, IT Infrastructure and the online account opening platform. This position requires a deep understanding of core banking systems, IT Infrastructure, online financial services and the intricacies of secure account management. The Sr. Core Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and optimal performance of these key systems, upgrades, aligning technology with business objectives, and adhering to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer the Corelation KeyStone core system, applying updates, patches, and configurations to ensure availability, reliability, and performance.

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the digital banking platform addressing issues related to user access, transaction processing and application functionality.

  • Administer and optimize the online account opening platform, facilitating a smooth and secure account opening process for users.

  • Develop automated processes, reports and scripts as needed to support credit union projects and process improvements.

  • Develop and maintain SQL-based reports to extract and present data for analysis and decision-making.

  • Manage and optimize databases supporting core banking and related systems.

  • Ensure seamless integration between Corelation KeyStone and digital banking platform, collaborating with vendors for additional integrations.

  • Implement security measures for all core platforms ensuring compliance with financial industry regulations.

  • Monitor and optimize the performance of all core platforms to enhance internal and external user experience. Build automation scripts using UiPath RPA system.

  • Develop and implement backup and recovery plans tailored to safeguard critical data and operations.

  • Manage user accounts and access controls for all core platforms, implementing measures to protect customer information and prevent unauthorized access.

  • Collaborate and manage vendor relationships, including monitoring help desk tickets, support agreements and service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Perform other duties commensurate to this position

Who Are You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or 7+ years’ experience in the related field with certifications.

  • Banking industry experience with core banking system and data processing knowledge.

  • Proven experience in the administration of core banking systems, IT Network Infrastructure, Windows servers environment, digital banking platforms, database management, and SQL reporting.

  • Must be proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications and Office 365.

  • Must be highly skilled at writing SQL queries and Python or Java.

  • Must have expertise needed for UI Scripting.

  • Must be self-motivated with exceptional time management, organization skills and attention to detail.

  • Must have well developed analytical and problem-solving skills; to solve problems as they occur and escalate as needed.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills, ability to motivate and direct work through the efforts of others, discuss problems and solutions with all levels of staff and management and be approachable to the team.

  • Must have exceptional written and verbal communication.

  • Must be be authorized to work in the United States. The Credit Union will not sponsor any type of work visa.
