Continuing along its highly successful growth trajectory, SFFedCU is seeking a Robotic Process Automation and Digital System Programmer to work on-site at our San Francisco headquarters.

The Position

The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) & Digital Systems Programmer role will be at the forefront of designing, developing and implementing cutting-edge automation solutions using RPA technologies and developing the APIs and web applications for other digital systems. This role’s responsibilities will encompass understanding complex business processes, programming automation scripts, integrating systems and continuously optimizing processes for increased efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement robotic process automation solutions using UiPath.

  • Analyze and understand complex business processes to identify automation opportunities and improvements.

  • Utilize programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# to enhance and customize automation scripts and solutions.

  • Develop scripts for data extraction, transformation and integration to support automation initiatives.

  • Integrate RPA solutions with existing systems and databases to ensure seamless data flow and process optimization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and implement effective solutions.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains through automation, streamlining workflows and reducing manual intervention.

  • Conduct regular analysis of automated processes to ensure continuous improvement and optimization.

  • Create comprehensive documentation for RPA solutions, including design specifications, test scripts and user manuals.

  • Conduct thorough testing of automation solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability and adherence to business requirements.

  • Provide training and support to end-users on utilizing automated processes and tools.

  • Address and troubleshoot issues related to automation solutions in a timely manner.

  • Ensure that all automation solutions comply with relevant regulatory and security standards.

  • Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, procedures and troubleshooting guides.

  • Perform other duties commensurate to this position.

Who Are You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

  • Must have a working knowledge of .Net (C# and VB), ASP.NET Web Services/Web APIs and SQL Server.

  • Banking industry experience with core banking system and data processing knowledge.

  • Proven experience in RPA development and implementation.

  • Familiarity with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism.

  • Solid understanding of business processes and process optimization.

  • Must be self-motivated with exceptional time management, organization skills and attention to detail.

  • Must have well developed analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to solve problems as they occur and escalate as needed.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to motivate and direct work through the efforts of others, discuss problems and solutions with all levels of staff and management, and be approachable to the team.

  • Must have exceptional written and verbal communication.

  • Must be be authorized to work in the United States. The Credit Union will not sponsor any type of work visa.
