Summary of Position:

The Education Manager will be responsible for developing the Service, Selling & Artistry skills of our Douglas store partners and retail teams. They will create education and sales strategies to improve key performance indicators and drive key category penetration. The Education Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with Store Leadership, Sales/Artistry teams and the Global Education Content team by executing a 360-education program that includes in-store, classroom based and social/digital learning initiatives.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Create a training strategy for the European market based on the needs of the countries, the launch and marketing calendar
  • Planning, creation and realisation of on and offline trainings
  • Planning and creation of training tools for online and offline
  • Support for pr events (representing the brand, live makeup masterclasses etc.)
  • Evaluation of KPI analyses to determine training needs and make training measurable
  • Creation of photo and video material for social media and e-learning platforms
  • Business trips within Europe to build and deepen relationships with business partners
  • Business trips to recognise needs and conduct training sessions
  • Work closely with the training teams of the business partners to utilise all training tools as effectively as possible
  • Support the national trainer at large events and trainings
  • Onboarding of new employees in the areas of customer service, artistry and product knowledge
  • Support for sell out events

Required Skills & Experience

  • Fluent in German, fluent in English (other languages an advantage e.g. Italian or French)
  • Very good knowledge of microsoft office
  • Driving licence class b
  • Very good presentation skills on and offline
  • Very good make-up artistry skills
  • Quick comprehension
  • Ability to work independently
  • High willingness to travel
  • Confident appearance in front of the camera
  • Confident handling of common social media platforms
  • Experience in training people of all age groups
  • Experience in sales ideally beauty
  • Flexibility

Travel Requirements:

Will include regular travel within the EU.
