Computer Support Specialist - (12927)

InGenesis is currently seeking a Computer Support Specialist to work with our client in New York, NY. In this role, you will be working in the NYS Department of Financial Services.

Job Duties

· Conduct and coordinate Vulnerability Assessment and management

· Work with Stakeholders to improve Data Classification and Data loss prevention tasks

· Conduct and/or evaluate Governance and Risk compliance tasks

· Test and evaluate new technology

· Investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents

· Work with IT to improve security measures

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

· At least 5 years’ experience within Information Security/Cyber Security or related field

· Knowledge of Information Security Frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001

· Knowledge of 23 NYCRR Part 500

· Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management

· Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques

· Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts

· Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them

· Experienced with penetration testing and techniques is a plus

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

*Pay rate range commensurate on experience.
