A leading video, audio, and voice technologies company is seeking an Information Developer-Technical Writer. The successful candidate will be responsible for multiple projects' outcomes, emphasizing the agile approach and ensuring all content aligns with our organizational goals. Information Developer - Technical Writer Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $55/hr
  • Worksite: Leading audio, video, and voice technologies company (Remote, Candidates must be located in the United States in Central or Eastern Time zone)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
  • 40 hours/week, 3 Month Assignment, Possibility of extension

Information Developer - Technical Writer Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit profound expertise in curating, generating, and iterating content using tools and standards of XML (DITA experience preferred).
  • Set, manage, and fulfill priorities for 2-3 projects simultaneously, ensuring timely updates and delivery of high-quality outcomes.
  • Operate effectively in SCRUM with daily stand-ups, storytime, and retrospectives.
  • Foster continuous improvement by interpreting and refining practices to enhance the user-focused content.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and enhance content delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with peers, sharing insights and knowledge for collective growth and innovation.

Information Developer - Technical Writer Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in user-focused technical content creation. Specific industry experience with audio and visual technology solutions is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Information Design, or a related field preferred.
  • Prefer experience with UX research of defining and refining user personas, key insights and needs.
  • Mastery over XML, Jira, and other relevant tools. (DITA experience preferred)
  • Comprehensive understanding of UX research, data analytics, and personalization strategies.
  • Proven leadership in multi-project scenarios, showcasing time management and prioritization skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Fluency with tools such as Oxygen XML Editor, Git, Confluence, and the MS Office suite.
